I am the king under the mountain by jeph

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Magnificent

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Smaug the Magnificent is a hasty Dragon whose attack trigger turns Treasure count into direct damage. This mono-red list builds an overwhelming Treasure economy through attack-trigger token makers, cost reducers, and Dragon synergies, then uses extra combat steps to turn those Treasures into repeated Smaug triggers. Goldspan Dragon and Ancient Copper Dragon are the primary mana multipliers; Aggravated Assault is the usual kill enabler. Magda, Brazen Outlaw and Gamble tutor missing pieces; There and Back Again acts as a hidden Smaug back-up, creating a token that dies into fourteen Treasures. A secondary plan uses Hellkite Tyrant to win by artifact count, and Reckless Fireweaver plus damage multipliers drains the table.
