Deck overview

Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain commands a high-velocity artifact storm deck built to draw through its entire library and win in a single explosive turn. The strategy centers on deploying Jhoira by Turn 3 and immediately chaining zero-mana 'cheerios', mana-positive rocks, and cost reducers. Every historic spell cast draws a card, creating a self-sustaining draw engine that digs into mass bounce spells like Retract, Hurkyl's Recall, and Paradoxical Outcome to reset and replay artifacts repeatedly. The deck closes games on Turn 4 via multiple redundant win conditions. It lasers opponents down with Aetherflux Reservoir, generates infinite mana and storm through Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal to fuel Walking Ballista or Grapeshot, or executes an Underworld Breach and Brain Freeze mill loop. Free counterspells such as Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Force of Will protect the combo turn, while independent engines like Mystic Forge and Urza, Lord High Artificer ensure lethal pressure even if Jhoira is removed.
