Deck overview

This Azorius control deck uses Yorion, Sky Nomad as its centerpiece to trigger powerful enter-the-battlefield effects repeatedly. The strategy develops mid-range permanents that draw cards, generate tokens, and control the board, then leverages mass flicker engines to multiply their value exponentially. Defensive enchantments like Ghostly Prison and Propaganda protect the life total against wide aggression while Narset, Parter of Veils limits opposing card advantage. The deck wins primarily by amassing large flying or soldier token swarms via Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward and Overlord of the Mistmoors, or through an infinite mana combo involving Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake that allows bouncing all opposing nonland permanents. Plentiful cheap instant flicker spells double as targeted protection, giving the deck high resilience against removal.
