Format: Commander

Commander: Syr Konrad, the Grim

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Syr Konrad, the Grim leads a mono-black graveyard and attrition deck. The primary strategy fills graveyards through self-mill, symmetrical mill, and forced sacrifices, turning every creature zone change into direct damage to all opponents. Win conditions rely on compounding Konrad triggers using artifacts like Mindcrank and Mesmeric Orb, explosive reanimation chains with Breach the Multiverse, or massive burst damage from Gray Merchant of Asphodel. In addition, Tortured Existence paired with K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth can continuously swap creature cards to burn the table rapidly. The deck grinds opponents down while maintaining board control through recurring edict effects.
