Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari token swarm and aristocrats strategy led by Hazel of the Rootbloom. The game plan revolves around generating diverse tokens—such as Squirrels, Food, and Treasures—and leveraging Hazel's abilities to produce explosive mana acceleration and double token creation each end step. In the mid-game, the deck swarms the board with cards like Deep Forest Hermit, Chatterfang, Squirrel General, and Black Market Connections. It finishes games through two complementary paths: massive combat overruns using Beastmaster Ascension, Overrun, and End-Raze Forerunners, or table-wide life drain via Bastion of Remembrance, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Nadier's Nightblade. With dense ramp and strong functional redundancy, the deck maintains steady pressure while recovering well from board wipes through resilient token generation engines.
