Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk is both the deck's mana engine and its anthem: he makes a Treasure on his own entry and on every Dwarf, then uses those tokens to pump all Dwarves. The primary plan is to chain Dwarves and legendary copy effects (Cadric, Molten Echoes, Roaming Throne) into a large artifact-token count, then win one combat with double strike and overloaded damage. Secondary routes are Hellkite Tyrant's 20-artifact upkeep win, Reckless Fireweaver/Alchemist's Talent burn, and There and Back Again/Smaug token flood. No double-faced commander is used; Magda, Brazen Outlaw is the key lieutenant, tutoring Hellkite or a Dragon after tapping a Dwarf-heavy board.
