Deck overview

This mono-red stompy deck harnesses the draconic power of Lathliss, Dragon Queen to overwhelm the table with massive flying threats. The deck spends its opening turns establishing mana acceleration through dedicated tribal cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Herald's Horn. Deploying Lathliss on Turn 5 sets the foundation for an exponential board presence, as every subsequent Dragon spell creates a free 5/5 flying Dragon token. By Turn 6, high-impact threats like Utvara Hellkite, Terror of Mount Velus, or Scourge of Valkas create a decisive must-answer board state, converting creature entries into massive direct damage and lethal aerial swings. The deck finishes games around Turn 8 through coordinated flying combat and Lathliss's firebreathing ability. While the strategy boasts formidable aerial stats and excellent creature removal, it is vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers and lacks stack interaction.
