Format: Commander

Commander: Glarb, Calamity's Augur

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Glarb, Calamity's Augur leads a three-color combo-control deck that turns top-deck selection into a consistent kill. The primary plan is Demonic Consultation emptying the library into Thassa's Oracle; Laboratory Maniac is a redundant payoff for the emptied library. Secondary lines are Isochron Scepter plus Dramatic Reversal generating infinite mana for Walking Ballista or Blue Sun's Zenith, and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed plus Walking Ballista for an undying loop. Glarb's role is selection and land smoothing, not combo assembly: his surveil and top-deck casting make the deck chain into its pieces, but no win line requires him. A dense tutor and draw core reinforces every line. There is no hidden commander, and losing Glarb mainly costs speed and filtering rather than the ability to win.
