The Mycotyrant by user5584598

Format: Commander

Commander: The Mycotyrant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Mycotyrant is a Golgari self-mill and token engine that aims to flood the board with large, unblockable-trampling Fungus tokens while draining life through sacrifice triggers. The deck mills aggressively via lands like Haunted Mire and creatures like Aftermath Analyst, then converts graveyard lands into explosive mana with Splendid Reclamation and Wight of the Reliquary. Sacrifice synergies with Baba Lysaga, Mazirek, and Cauldron of Essence provide card advantage and board control. The commander's descending trigger creates a growing army that can win through combat, with backup lines through Lich-Knights' Conquest recursion and token swarms. The deck functions competently without the commander but accelerates significantly when it lands.
