Commander 1 by MasterMandolin

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Sultai "Tales of Middle-earth" value pile helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking, whose first ability grants him every activated ability of Elf cards in the graveyard - a repeatable engine that lets him tap for mana via Woodland Weavemaster or pump himself via Guardian of the Halls once those Elves are in the yard. The second ability (draw two on another legendary Elf entering) is nearly dead, as Thranduil, Sindarin Liege is the only other legendary Elf in the 99. The deck's real plan is landfall-driven midrange: ramp with land tutors, deploy oversized threats like Gigantic Big Bear, Mahamoti Djinn, and Old Fat Spider, and win through combat. Subthemes of Elves, Wolves, Spiders, Bears, and Halflings are scattered rather than focused. Three cards (Eleven Raft-Steerer, Elevenking's Halls, Elevenking's Harper) could not be resolved but appear to be Elf-themed support pieces. There are no infinite combos; the win is a slow, grindy combat clock.
