Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Jund attrition and combo strategy led by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The game plan accelerates mana on early turns, deploys Auntie Ool on Turn 3 or 4, and leverages mechanics like blight and wither to transform -1/-1 counter distribution into massive card draw and life drain. Mass counter effects from cards like Soul Snuffers, Carnifex Demon, and Black Sun's Zenith sweep away opposing small creatures while generating large token swarms through Nest of Scarabs and Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons. Opponents face severe combat paralysis under Kulrath Knight, which stops any creature with counters from attacking or blocking, while Necroskitter steals opposing casualties. The deck finishes games through aristocrat drain via Obelisk Spider and Zulaport Cutthroat, unblockable token attacks, or the infinite pump and draw combo of Devoted Druid and Quillspike. High card flow provides steady resilience against ordinary disruption.
