Deck overview

This mono-green deck harnesses The Notary Hobbits in the command zone as a specialized mana engine. When cast for {3}{G}{G}, the commander creates two token copies of itself. Once the summoning sickness clears, each Hobbit taps for colorless mana equal to the number of Halflings controlled, immediately supplying 9 colorless mana. Combined with natural land drops and early ramp, this generates 14 or more mana on Turn 5 to cast colossal Eldrazi threats. The deck overwhelms opponents using devastating on-cast triggers, asymmetric board sweepers like All Is Dust, restrictive locks like Void Winnower, and massive Annihilator attacks. Value engines such as Up the Beanstalk, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, and Garruk's Uprising keep hand sizes full, while Echoes of Eternity and Zhulodok, Void Gorger double subsequent threats.
