Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu control and Voltron strategy led by Kelsien, the Plague. The primary game plan converts Kelsien's tap ability into instant-speed spot removal by equipping deathtouch artifacts such as Basilisk Collar and Gorgon's Head. Each destroyed creature permanently grants an experience counter, scaling Kelsien's power and toughness to lethal commander damage thresholds. Untap engines like Sting, the Glinting Dagger and Drumbellower allow multi-target suppression across each opponent's turn cycle. Secondary threats such as Otharri, Suns' Glory and Maha, Its Feathers Night generate explosive token swarms and one-sided board locks. Robust defensive cards, including General's Enforcer and Vexilus Praetor, protect Kelsien from opposing interaction while you systematically eliminate opponents in combat.
