Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis (UBR) control/superfriends deck, helmed by Nicol Bolas, the Ravager // Nicol Bolas, the Arisen, aims to dominate the board through hand disruption, efficient removal, and a dense planeswalker suite. The game plan is to deploy value planeswalkers while leveraging the commander's flip ability for card advantage and threat removal. The primary win condition is the Chain of Smog + Professor Onyx (or Ral, Storm Conduit) infinite loop, which can be assembled quickly via tutors. Secondary paths include overwhelming ultimate abilities from planeswalkers like Jace, the Mind Sculptor and Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God, and the inevitability of Bolas's Citadel generating massive value. The deck is a classic Grixis control list with a tight combo finish and exceptional stack interaction.
