Commander: Captain America, First Avenger

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai Equipment-burn deck built around Captain America, First Avenger's Throw ability. The primary plan is to suit the Commander with high-mana-value Equipment, then activate Throw to unattach that Equipment and deal damage equal to its mana value, split among up to three targets. Zirda, the Dawnwaker and Training Grounds reduce that activation to a single mana, while Puresteel Paladin and Super-Soldier Serum let the deck re-attach and repeat within the same turn. City on Fire triples the damage, turning a handful of Throws into a table kill. Combat is the backup channel, led by Hammer of Nazahn, Mjolnir, Storm Hammer, and Bilbo's Ring for unblockable commander damage. The 99 contains about 18 Equipment pieces, a suite of Hero-typed legends for support, and recursive elements like Sun Titan and Winter Soldier, Reborn Avenger to rebuild through sweepers. Captain America is central, but the Equipment base keeps the deck functional as a Voltron deck even when he is briefly removed.
