Deck overview

This mono-black Aristocrats deck leverages Armix, Filigree Thrasher and Nadier, Agent of the Duskenel to orchestrate a high-synergy token attrition and combo-control strategy. Armix, Filigree Thrasher provides consistent early creature removal and fills the graveyard through attack-triggered discards, while Nadier, Agent of the Duskenel serves as a late-game token payoff and mana sink. The deck's primary strategy centers on assembling a sacrifice engine using recursive creatures such as Gravecrawler and Reassembling Skeleton, paired with sacrifice outlets like Warren Soultrader, Phyrexian Altar, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. Life drain engines, including Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, and Marionette Apprentice, convert these loops into lethal damage. Defensively, asymmetric stax pieces like Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos continually wipe opposing creature boards, paving the way for combo finishes or overwhelming Torment of Hailfire casts powered by Cabal Coffers.
