Deck overview

This Boros deck executes an aggressive Dwarf tribal strategy centered on Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The game plan curves out early Dwarves and artifact ramp on the first three turns, setting up Thorin's arrival on Turn 4. Once Thorin enters, every Dwarf triggers Treasure generation, while Thorin grants each other Dwarf an escalating power buff equal to your total artifact tokens. By Turn 5, wide attacks backed by Treasures, Equipment tokens, and cards like Academy Manufactor or Xorn deal decisive combat damage. The deck accelerates through mid-game mana surplus, using finishers like Taunt from the Rampart, Fiery Emancipation, and Embercleave to close out the game over two combat cycles. While the deck boasts strong single-target protection and explosive recovery from command zone recasts, it remains susceptible to mass creature sweepers and relies on combat steps rather than infinite combo finishes.
