Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Dimir tempo and ninja tribal list built around Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The strategy relies on deploying 1-mana unblockable creatures on Turn 1 and using Commander Ninjutsu on Turn 2 to cheat Yuriko into play tapped and attacking. Yuriko bypasses the traditional commander tax, providing consistent early-game card flow and aggressive life-drain triggers. The deck manipulates the top of the library with cards like Brainstorm, Lim-Dûl's Vault, and Scroll Rack to reveal massive mana value cards such as Shadow of Mortality and Temporal Trespass. These reveals deal heavy, asymmetric damage to all opponents at once while putting the revealed cards into hand. A low mana curve backed by efficient counterspells and free removal allows the deck to maintain steady pressure, protect its attackers, and close out the table by Turn 5.
