Deck overview

This deck is a focused Naya Voltron strategy commander-helmed by Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER. The primary game plan revolves around deploying high-impact Equipment on the early turns, casting Cloud on Turn 4, and utilizing his enters-the-battlefield ability to attach heavy armaments—such as Colossus Hammer or Buster Sword—without paying exorbitant equip costs. Cloud's native haste lets him attack immediately, drawing cards and creating Treasure tokens when his power reaches 7 or higher. By Turn 5, additional combat amplifiers like Halvar, God of Battle or Leyline Axe turn Cloud into a one-shot commander damage threat. The deck features extensive Equipment tutoring to ensure high operational consistency, along with free commander protection spells like Flawless Maneuver and Deflecting Swat. Because it must eliminate opponents sequentially across combat steps, it relies on silence effects and defensive interaction to survive the two response cycles needed to close the table.
