Deck overview

This competitive Azorius deck combines an oppressive stax shell with a blazing-fast infinite combo finish. Led by King T'Challa, the deck exploits symmetric draw effects and opponent game actions to maintain a full hand of counterspells and stax pieces. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through cheap rocks and dropping asymmetric lock pieces such as Drannith Magistrate, Lavinia, Azorius Renegade, and Winter Orb. These pieces stall opposing turbo and midrange strategies while breaking parity with artifact mana. Once opponents are constrained, the deck protects its closing window using Grand Abolisher, Silence, or Teferi, Time Raveler. It then executes a deterministic infinite mana loop with Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal, ending the game on Turn 3 or 4 by drawing the entire deck and lethal-pinging the table with Walking Ballista.
