Deck overview

This deck is a fast Boros Equipment aggro deck helmed by Dwalin, Weaponmaster. The game plan revolves around playing cheap Equipment on the earliest turns, casting Dwalin on Turn 2, and attacking each turn to place permanent hone counters on every controlled Equipment. As hone counters accumulate, every weapon grants compounding power buffs to equipped creatures. The deck leverages efficient equip enablers like Puresteel Paladin, Bruenor Battlehammer, and Super-Soldier Serum to cheat attachment costs and swing for massive chunks of commander damage. Combat multipliers like Reyav, Master Smith and Lizard Blades quickly turn attacks into one-shot lethal threats around Turn 5. A robust suite of 1-mana protection spells and flash Equipment keeps key threats alive through opposing removal, allowing the deck to eliminate players sequentially across Turns 5 through 7.
