Cloud, Midgar Mercenary drives a mono-white equipment-Voltron plan. His enters trigger finds any Equipment, and his static ability doubles triggered abilities of Cloud and attached Equipment. The primary path is to fetch Buster Sword, connect for repeated damage while drawing cards and casting free spells, then finish with commander damage. Secondary paths use Sigarda's Aid, Puresteel Paladin, and Hammer of Nazahn to attach equipment at instant speed or for free, while Excalibur, Super State, and Eldrazi Conscription can shorten the clock. The deck is artifact-dense, with protection and draw provided by Swords, Esper Sentinel, The One Ring, and Flare of Fortitude. It is a linear, timing-sensitive combat deck that needs Cloud equipped to maximize every trigger.
