Smaug the Impenetrable by slowloris

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Built around Smaug the Impenetrable's noncombat-damage trigger, the deck accelerates into Smaug, repeatedly hits him with burn, equipments, enchantments, and pings to create explosive Treasure counts, then converts those Treasures into table-wide damage or alternate wins. Secondary paths include independent Treasure engines such as Goldspan Dragon, Magda, and Big Score, plus token payoffs and upkeep artifact-count wins from Revel in Riches, Hellkite Tyrant, and Knuckles the Echidna. Smaug the Magnificent in the 99 is a supporting Dragon, not a hidden commander. Smaug the Impenetrable is the engine: without him the deck still ramps and pings, but the most efficient mass-Treasure kill line disappears.
