Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control build commanded by Queza, Augur of Agonies that weaponizes card draw into lethal life drain. The game plan focuses on establishing early mana development and deploying defensive enchantments like Propaganda and Ghostly Prison alongside disruptive pieces such as Blind Obedience, Drana and Linvala, and Teferi, Time Raveler. Once the board is stabilized, the deck uses massive card draw engines—including The One Ring, Rhystic Study, and Necropotence—to sculpt a winning hand while chipping away at opposing life totals through Queza, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and Psychosis Crawler. The primary win condition is an infinite life-drain loop pairing Exquisite Blood with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Enduring Tenacity, which ends the game immediately on Turn 5 or 6. Supported by clean removal, board wipes, and silence effects, the deck maintains high resilience and strong table control throughout all phases of play.
