Deck overview

This Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck is a dedicated Superfriends control deck designed to lock down the board, accumulate overwhelming loyalty counters, and win through devastating planeswalker ultimates. The early game focuses on deploying mana ramp, establishing 4-color fixing, and placing pillowfort deterrents such as Dueling Grounds and Sphere of Safety to protect life totals and planeswalkers. By Turn 4, Atraxa enters the battlefield to provide an evasive lifelink blocker and a continuous end-step proliferate engine. The midgame leverages counter multipliers like Doubling Season, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, and Oath of Teferi to allow newly cast planeswalkers such as Liliana, Dreadhorde General and Tamiyo, Field Researcher to activate ultimate abilities immediately upon resolution. Asymmetrical board wipes like Urza's Ruinous Blast clear opposing battlefields while preserving legendary permanents, enabling an inevitable finish through combat damage.
