[WIP] Smaug the Unassessably Wealthy [Bracket 4] by armandop107

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Smaug the Impenetrable is both a massive haste beater and a treasure engine. The deck's central loop is to damage Smaug in noncombat ways-Dizzying Gaze, Pestilence, Pyrohemia, Cut Propulsion-so his indestructible body converts each point of pain into Treasure tokens. Those Treasures fuel repeatable activations and pay for a second Smaug, Magda, Goldspan, and Face-Breaker payoffs. The kill comes from Pain for All (each self-ping burns all opponents) or from sacrificing large Treasure stacks to Disciple of the Vault, Mayhem Devil, Havoc Jester, and Agent of the Iron Throne. Underworld Breach and Imskir add grind and recursion, while Not of This World, Bolt Bend, and Hexing Squelcher protect the dragon.
