Talrand by Valkarion

Format: Commander

Commander: Talrand, Sky Summoner

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Talrand, Sky Summoner is the engine: every instant/sorcery cast creates a 2/2 flying Drake. The deck is a mono-blue spellslinger value deck that uses cheap cantrips, counters, and bounces to generate both tempo and drakes. The primary path is to stick Talrand, chain low-cost spells, and finish by swarming over opponents with Drakes. Secondary paths include a Laboratory Maniac win via a large draw spell and a fragile Primal Wellspring/Narset's Reversal/Frantic Search loop. Murmuring Mystic and Hermes, Overseer of Elpis act as backup token engines. No hidden commander exists; the deck is fully built around Talrand's trigger, with supporting spell triggers throughout the 99.
