Baja blast by user8891668

Format: Commander

Commander: Maha, Its Feathers Night

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Maha, Its Feathers Night is the deck's fulcrum: its static ability sets every opponent creature's base toughness to 1, so even a single -1/-1 effect is a one-sided board wipe. The mono-black shell leans on 38 lands, Cabal Coffers, Cabal Stronghold, and Crypt Ghast ramp, and a large package of -1/-1 effects plus wither creatures to clear blockers and generate value. Secondary paths are reanimation/stealing via Gisa, Necroskitter, and The Darkness Crystal, and devotion drain from Gray Merchant. There is no hidden commander; the plan is to land Maha, protect her, wipe the board, then close with commander damage or a draining finisher.
