Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue artifact combo-control strategy commanded by Sai, Master Thopterist. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap artifacts to generate a wide board of flying Thopter tokens, utilizing them as fuel for card draw through Sai's sacrifice ability and Skullclamp. The deck leverages dense 1-2 CMC mana acceleration and cost reducers to power out high-impact value engines like Urza, Lord High Artificer, Mystic Forge, and Vedalken Archmage. Victory is achieved either by assembling the infinite mana combo of Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal to win on the spot with Walking Ballista, or by pivoting into an aggressive wide combat assault buffed by anthems like Master of Etherium and Forsaken Monument. While lacking dedicated artifact tutors, the deck compensates with overwhelming raw card draw velocity.
