Deck overview

This Abzan Lands deck is commanded by The Necrobloom, turning the graveyard into an expansive resource hub and replicating the power of Field of the Dead directly from the command zone. The deck accelerates in the early turns using efficient ramp, land tutors, and land-sacrifice engines to fill the graveyard. Once the commander is assembled alongside land-recursion engines like Crucible of Worlds, Six, or Life from the Loam, land cards gain dredge 2, enabling continuous self-mill and hand replenishment. The deck transitions into a lethal win condition on Turn 5 through mass land-entry spells such as Scapeshift, Splendid Reclamation, or Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, flooding the board with dozens of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Strong asymmetric disruption from Aura Shards, Thalia and The Gitrog Monster, and repeatable Strip Mine loops restricts opposing development while the deck prepares a decisive combat attack on Turn 6.
