Deck overview

This is a five-color changeling tribal deck helmed by The Ur-Dragon. The core strategy revolves around using changelings (creatures with every creature type) to unlock a vast array of tribal synergies across the format. The deck leans on Maskwood Nexus to make all creatures every type, then exploits powerful tribal payoffs: Sliver Overlord for repeatable tutoring, Kindred Discovery for mass card draw, Shared Animosity for combat pump, Reaper King for permanent destruction, and Liliana's Contract as an alternate win condition. The primary path to victory is overwhelming combat damage through lords, anthem effects, and The Ur-Dragon's attack trigger, which draws cards and cheats permanents into play. The deck is a value engine that adapts to the board, but it lacks a fast, focused win line and relies on incremental advantage.
