Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered 5-color spellslinger combo-control list helmed by Codie, Ravenous Codex. It leverages creatures with the prepare mechanic whose embedded instant and sorcery spells are copied upon casting. Supported by premier fast mana, ABUR dual lands, and low-cost mana dorks, the deck accelerates into Codie by Turn 2 or 3. On Turn 4, it deploys a prepare creature such as Emeritus of Woe // Demonic Tutor or Emeritus of Ideation // Ancestral Recall, duplicating high-impact effects to assemble its win conditions. The primary finish uses Leyline of the Guildpact combined with Coalition Victory to win the game immediately on Turn 5. The strategy is reinforced by an array of silence effects, split-second enablers, pillowfort attack taxes, and free countermagic, ensuring that the closing sequence proceeds with full protection.
