Controlled Hugs by user4369102

Format: Commander

Commander: Ms. Bumbleflower

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a draw-go control deck built around Ms. Bumbleflower's unusual symmetry: every spell you cast gives an opponent a card, and the second spell each turn pays *you* with two cards. The deck weaponizes that trade by running profit engines like Consecrated Sphinx, Trouble in Pairs, and Psychic Possession, turning the commander's gifts into a massive personal draw advantage. Countermagic is the core defensive structure-nearly twenty counterspells, several free spells, and a handful of Silence effects let the deck play on every opponent's turn. The primary kill is a double-cast Approach of the Second Sun; Triskaidekaphile offers an alternate exact-hand win, and oversized flying threats like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Hullbreaker Horror, and Sphinx of the Second Sun close games if the control plan grinds long enough.
