Commander: Kenessos, Priest of Thassa

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kenessos, Priest of Thassa leads a Simic high-cost tribal deck designed to cheat enormous Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents directly onto the battlefield. The strategy combines topdeck manipulation through scrying and library-filtering artifacts with Kenessos's activated ability, bypassing steep mana costs as early as turn three. Once large threats like Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Spawning Kraken, and Hullbreaker Horror land, the deck controls the board with asymmetrical bounces like Whelming Wave and Scourge of Fleets. Trample enablers and unblockable effects from Serpent of Yawning Depths turn massive sea creatures into a lethal, game-ending combat wave.
