Eriette, the Beguiler by HoleyCrusader

Format: Commander

Commander: Eriette, the Beguiler

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a specialized Esper "Aura-Control" strategy helmed by Eriette, the Beguiler. The primary game plan is to leverage Eriette s unique ability to steal an opponent's nonland permanents by attaching Auras to them. By carefully matching the mana value of Auras to the targets, the deck transforms traditional "buff" spells into powerful theft effects. The strategy focuses on controlling the board through theft and soft-stax (via Eriette of the Charmed Apple) while building a massive board presence using opponents' resources. Secondary win conditions involve massive Voltron swings with Eldrazi Conscription or Sage's Reverie, and token generation through Ghostly Dancers and Arna Kenner d, Skycaptain. The deck plays a reactive early game, transitioning into a dominant mid-to-late game engine that punishes opponents for playing high-value permanents.
