Deck overview

This is a Temur Dragon-tribal battlecruiser helmed by Ureni of the Unwritten. The game plan is to ramp aggressively, deploy Dragon cost reducers, and cast Ureni to cheat Dragons directly from the top eight cards onto the battlefield on every ETB and attack. The deck wins through overwhelming flying combat, multiplying damage with Atarka, World Render and Terror of Mount Velus (double strike), Twinflame Tyrant (damage doubling), Thrakkus the Butcher (power doubling), and Scourge of the Throne (extra combats that re-fire Ureni's trigger). Old Gnawbone and Goldspan Dragon turn combat into explosive treasure mana. Secondary reach comes from Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of the Peaks pings, and Tooth and Nail can assemble a two-Dragon haymaker. It is a fair, high-variance midrange deck that trades interaction density for raw board presence.
