Deck overview

Edea, Possessed Sorceress commands a Grixis theft and sacrifice deck that turns opponents' resources into fuel for card advantage and board control. The deck ramps on early turns to cast Edea on turn 4. At the start of combat, Edea steals an opposing creature, grants it haste, and sends it into battle. Before the turn ends, sacrifice outlets such as Ghoulcaller Gisa, Ayara, Widow of the Realm, and Rakdos, the Muscle consume the stolen creature. When it dies, Edea returns it to its owner's control while drawing you a fresh card, generating reliable card advantage and death triggers each turn cycle. The deck converts this advantage into victory by amassing wide Zombie swarms, casting high-impact spells from opposing libraries with Etali, Primal Storm and Laughing Jasper Flint, and burning life totals with direct damage. While reliant on opposing creature targets and vulnerable to creature sweepers, redundant sacrifice outlets and theft effects maintain a steady mid-game clock.
