Deck overview

This competitive Izzet spellslinger deck uses Vivi Ornitier as both a burn engine and an explosive mana generator. By enchanting Vivi with Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout, every noncreature spell deals 1 damage to each opponent and draws three cards. This immediately starts a self-sustaining storm sequence powered by 0- and 1-mana spells, rituals, and Vivi's {0} mana activation. The deck can close games on Turn 3 by burning the table directly or by executing infinite loops with Hullbreaker Horror or Niv-Mizzet, Parun. A format-ceiling suite of free interaction and redirection spells protects the combo window, while Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, and The One Ring provide backup card advantage.
