Deck overview

This Grixis deck builds one large Army with amass and supports it with Wraith tribal and Ring-tempt value. Sauron, the Dark Lord grows the Army whenever opponents cast spells and turns Army combat damage into Ring tempt triggers. Each tempt lets you discard your hand to draw four, which fuels the grind. Secondary engines create Wraiths with Lord of the Nazgul, Nazgul, and In the Darkness Bind Them, while Mauhur, Uruk-hai Captain and The Great Goblin amplify counters. The deck wins through combat with a tall Army or wide Wraiths, often with Assault on Osgiliath giving double strike, or through mass reanimation with Breach the Multiverse and Living Death. It has no infinite combo and wins by incremental advantage.
