Toph, the First Metalbender by Chron

Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Naya earthbend deck turns lands and artifacts into hasty creatures and wins through combat. Toph, the First Metalbender makes nontoken artifacts into lands and earthbends 2 each end step, while payoffs like Bumi Unleashed, Avatar Kyoshi and Toph, Greatest Earthbender create 4/4 to 10/10 land creatures with double strike, trample and extra combats. Ashaya, Soul of the Wild acts as a hidden commander, turning creatures into lands to enable infinite mana loops with Badgermole Cub, Bumi Eclectic Earthbender, Sylvan Safekeeper and Zuran Orb, or Lattice lines with Liquimetal effects. Secondary wins come from Scute Swarm and Titania tokens or Finale of Devastation for X=10. The deck grinds value through landfall draw and tutors until it can one-shot the table.
