Deck overview

This Selesnya token deck, helmed by Rhys the Redeemed, aims to generate an overwhelming board presence through a dense package of token creators, populate effects, and token doublers. The primary game plan is to flood the battlefield with small creature tokens, then leverage anthem effects like Beastmaster Ascension and Intangible Virtue to turn them lethal. Alternative win conditions include Halo Fountain's untap-fifteen-creatures ability and Finale of Glory for a massive angelic swarm. The deck relies on incremental value from repeatable token generation and populate triggers, with a modest interaction suite focused on spot removal and protection spells. Rhys himself provides a cheap, repeatable way to create and double tokens, but the deck has enough redundancy to function without him.
