Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages Killian, Decisive Mentor to combine Aura-based Voltron and political control. By attaching Auras to both friendly and opposing creatures, the deck taps and goads critical threats, forcing opponents into mutual combat while drawing cards each turn. Complementary legends like Eriette of the Charmed Apple and Nils, Discipline Enforcer shut down attacks directed at you and drain opposing life totals. Meanwhile, token producers like Archon of Sun's Grace and Ajani's Chosen build a wide flying army to contest the board. The deck maintains stability through efficient Orzhov removal spells such as Anguished Unmaking and Winds of Rath, which leaves enchanted creatures untouched. As opponents wear each other down under goad pressure, the deck closes the game through evasive token attacks, tall enchanted threats, and passive life drain.
