Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov political aggro strategy commanded by Breena, the Demagogue. The primary game plan deploys low-cost, evasive creatures to trigger Breena immediately upon entering the battlefield. These triggers draw extra cards while rapidly pumping attackers with +1/+1 counters. The deck uses political incentives and combat taxes like Nils, Discipline Enforcer, Combat Calligrapher, and Orzhov Advokist to direct opposing aggression elsewhere. As counters accumulate, damage amplifiers such as Duelist's Heritage and Necropolis Regent turn Breena and evasive fliers into lethal threats that can eliminate opponents one by one starting around Turn 6. A robust interaction suite and targeted protection pieces like Flawless Maneuver and Robe of Stars keep key threats on the board, while token generators like Felidar Retreat and Thalisse, Reverent Medium provide resilient backup win conditions if the commander is removed.
