Oloro, ageless ascetic by user7860526

Format: Commander

Commander: Oloro, Ageless Ascetic

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is an Esper life-drain control strategy powered by Oloro, Ageless Ascetic, who provides continuous life gain from the command zone. The game plan focuses on establishing a defensive pillowfort, accumulating card advantage, and assembling deterministic life-drain combos. While Oloro can enter the battlefield to turn life gain into cards, the primary path to victory does not require casting him. The deck aims to combine Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with life-loss trigger pieces like Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, or Marauding Blight-Priest. Secondary win conditions include Felidar Sovereign and Aetherflux Reservoir.
