Deck overview

This deck is an Esper combat-cheat strategy commanded by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. Its primary game plan is to accelerate Yennett onto the battlefield on Turn 4 using efficient 2-mana artifacts and rituals, then manipulate the top of the library with cards like Sensei's Divining Top, Aminatou, the Fateshifter, and Jace, the Mind Sculptor. On Turn 5, Yennett attacks to cheat massive odd-mana spells directly into play, including Breach the Multiverse, Void Winnower, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Expropriate. These threats decimate opposing boards and generate overwhelming card advantage. The deck backs up this strategy with a compact Doomsday and Laboratory Maniac win condition. While the deck generates massive tempo swings when its commander connects, it is vulnerable to well-timed creature removal due to a lack of haste enablers and dedicated protection spells.
