Sturmotter by Biegenhurst

Format: Commander

Commander: Alania, Divergent Storm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Alania, Divergent Storm is an Izzet spellslinger deck that copies its first instant, first sorcery, and first Otter each turn to generate extra value. It wins by casting many cheap spells in one turn to pump a wide board or to loop an infinite Treasure combo. Balmor, Third Path Iconoclast, Stormsplitter, and Coruscation Mage turn spell chains into damage, while Surge to Victory and Blaze close games. The only true infinite line is Bonus Round + Narset's Reversal + Storm-Kiln Artist for infinite Treasures and mana. Alania is value, not required, and Storm-Kiln Artist acts as a hidden commander for the combo. The deck plays like a storm-combat hybrid that needs setup before it can explode.
