Deck overview

Wolverine, Best There Is leads an aggressive Gruul Voltron strategy centered on lethal combat math and power-scaling damage triggers. Wolverine inherently doubles all damage he deals, meaning he only needs eleven base power to execute single-hit commander damage kills. The primary game plan accelerates Wolverine onto the battlefield, stacks +1/+1 counters using cards like Hydra's Growth and Bone Sabres, and forces through lethal damage with trample and extra combats. To overcome the traditional multiplayer limitations of Voltron, the deck utilizes force multipliers like Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and Chandra's Ignition to damage all opponents simultaneously, alongside an infinite combat combo using Aggravated Assault and Bear Umbra.
