Deck overview

This deck is a fast-paced Boros aggressive strategy that leverages partner commanders Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful and Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh to establish immediate early-game dominance. Deploying both commanders on Turn 1 creates an instant 2/2 threat thanks to Rograkh entering as a 0-mana legendary permanent. The deck builds on this foundation by chaining low-mana historic spells, legendary creatures, and equipment to continuously place +1/+1 counters on Yoshimaru while keeping mana flowing via Mox Amber and Relic of Legends. Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar acts as a premier force multiplier by projecting Yoshimaru's commander damage across all opponents simultaneously. While the deck lacks infinite combos or hard lockouts, its blistering opening tempo, robust suite of free protection spells like Flawless Maneuver and Flare of Fortitude, and asymmetric sweepers like Urza's Ruinous Blast allow it to pressure life totals rapidly and close games by Turn 6.
