Deck overview

This Dimir deck utilizes Satoru Umezawa as a commander to cheat game-ending monsters directly onto the battlefield during combat. By leading with efficient, unblockable 1-mana creatures like Changeling Outcast and Slither Blade, the deck guarantees an unblocked attacker early. On Turn 4, Satoru grants every creature in hand ninjutsu for four mana ({2}{U}{B}), swapping in massive threats like Blightsteel Colossus, Toxrill, the Corrosive, or Archon of Cruelty after blockers are declared. This line bypasses traditional casting costs and sorcery-speed removal while triggering Satoru's card selection ability to maintain card velocity. If the commander is answered, the deck smoothly pivots to Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow for heavy group burn or uses Reanimate to deploy discarded threats. Supported by fast mana rituals, efficient counterspells, and premier tutors, the list maintains consistent operational speed, eliminating opponents one by one through unblockable combat pressure.
