Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mardu aggro build centered around Kaalia of the Vast. The primary objective is to deploy Kaalia by Turn 3 or 4, grant her haste, and immediately cheat high-mana Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. This strategy completely bypasses the casting costs of lethal threats such as Master of Cruelties, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, and Vilis, Broker of Blood. The deck protects its commander using low-cost equipment, Grand Abolisher, and targeted defensive spells. Once Kaalia establishes an airborne presence, the deck accelerates table eliminations through extra combat steps from Bloodthirster and Aurelia, the Warleader, damage multipliers like Fiery Emancipation, or a parity-breaking land wipe with Devastation. The deck operates with high offensive velocity, aiming to close the game by Turn 6.
